    We are so blessed to have a pastor who loves God and gets excited to share the truth of God's word. Pastor Glenn Bezerra and his family came to Temple Avenue in the spring of 2021. Originally from Brazil, they had spent several years in Louisiana while Pastor Glenn was working on his degree until he accepted our call to be our pastor. Get ready to be excited! Pastor Glenn knows how to bring the Word of God to life!

The leadership of TABC begins with

JESUS

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the Head of the Church (Eph. 1:22–23, 4:15, 5:23). He is the One that we seek and follow as He continues the movement that He started 2,000 years ago through His perfect life, substitutionary death and victorious resurrection. After He ascended into heaven, He gave us His Spirit and established His Church and he’s our Senior Pastor. Underneath the guidance of Jesus are leaders who follow Jesus and encourage others to follow him as well. The Bible also affirms the individual worth of each individual member of the Body and so we are a congregational-run church. While we have a head Pastor who leads us, and Deacons and support staff who serve the Body, the church members vote as a body to make decisions for the church at monthly business meetings.
