The Baptist faith includes several key doctrines or beliefs: (1) That Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, (2) that the Bible is the God inspired word and the sole written authority for faith and practice, (3) that salvation from sin and eternal separation from God, is only available by faith in Jesus Christ, and his death, burial and resurrection, (4) that salvation is a gift freely given of God and unattainable by an individual’s works, lifestyle, or family heritage, (5) that a believers baptism is a public representation of your acceptance and faith in Christ and not a spiritual healing or cleaning, and (6) the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is an act of remembrance of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for us and not a spiritual manifestation of his body and blood.

Our Pastor preaches and teaches from the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible. Though some attenders do use other authorized translations for ease of reading, or comprehension.

The typical Sunday service is one hour and thirty minutes (1:30) in length and consists of a time of worship (music) and greeting, church announcements, main preaching, and dismissal. Deviations from this may include baptisms, communion, and special event days (e.g. Mother’s or Father’s Day, Independence Day, Easter, Christmas, and the like).

We ask that you dress your heart and mind in preparation to visit. Whether you’re in a three-piece suit or Sunday casual, we would love to worship with you. 1 Sam 16:7 says, “The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Sunday School is one of several ways we equip our members with a deeper understanding and knowledge of the scriptures. Not only will you take a closer look by peeling back the onion of scripture, but you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn what other believers are thinking on the same subject. It’s also a good way of meeting new brothers and sisters in Christ.

Yes, in an effort to both Equip and Encourage our members, we offer Starting Point Classes for new believers and members, our Life Groups that meet during the week in homes, our Men’s/Women’s/Senior’s/Youth Ministries that combine spiritual teaching with social activities.

We encourage you to visit in person, when possible, if only for the gathering and fellowship. Matt 18:20 says, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them.” We do, however, offer live streaming of Services and a replay of past messages you may have missed. Yes, our facilities support ADA access to all meeting spaces, restrooms, and parking areas. Furthermore, should you need additional assistance, one of our friendly greeters would be happy to assist you.

Yes, our Pastor and Deacons are available to provide personal and spiritual counseling in a number of areas. In those instances where it’s deemed that more professional assistance is needed, we can also assist you in finding someone to help you. In addition to counseling, we also provide community assistance on a limited basis. This could be anything from handiwork, mowing the lawn, or grocery assistance. We welcome the opportunity of serving our community.
